I dont get it. The chick wants him to shoot her because she wants to end the virus (what i dont understand in the first place). Then we dont know what happens. Suddenly a shot is racing with a "booming" Sound through our ears and we see that he (The main char) killed himself. Now The Chick begins to explode and it comes even better... She explodes and we hear her saying : Thanks Jack
