SO ANNOYING!

Yep i get that. Another reason i designed visby to be as quiet as possible. Insutalion tape over the power LED and turn the monitor off. Problem sorted.

mine is fairly quiet, i can usually get away with leaving it on when I go out

I used to just tell em "if you don't let me leave it on I won't fix your laptop when it goes wrong and I'll stop your internet access" - I payed for the net access

That tended to do the trick

my parents dont give a crap at all, plus its in my room

they usually can hear my comp running at 2 am, and are like GO TO SLEEP, YOU HAVE SCHOOL IN THE MORNING

I honestly doubt that any of these research projects really do anything. I just do it for points, mainly.
