M mrapoc New member Sep 2, 2007 #1 its 1280 x 800 and on the main forum index for example it fits but while reading other threads and some other websites it doesnt. Is there a way to enforce the browser to use the resolution specified (rearrange or resize content?) I have adblock now so ads are not shown

I ionicle New member Sep 2, 2007 #2 yeh, those stupid adverts on that side of the forum, make threads with big pictures scroleable from left to right, its damn anoying! although i spose they're needed for advertising and money purposes if you could move em somwhere though, like the bottom and top of the page, ... since i'm now on 1024x768, i dont mind scrolling for big pic's, infact i find it fun but those adverts just......pfft

F FarFarAway New member Sep 2, 2007 #3 He says he's using Adblock so thats not the issue The forum should fit to page (and does certainly) at 1024 x 768 and 800 x 600 if I remember rightly. However if someone posts a pic too big for the page width there's nout we can do aboput it Which is why the forum guidelines are 800 x 600

D Dav0s New member Sep 2, 2007 #11 even with adblock im pretty sure the frame on the right still appears btw. personally, i have adblock but i choose to show adverts on oc3d, because thats how the site continues to run. and yes the adverts on the right are mildly annoying, but they ge a LOT more clicks/views than top/bottom ones im afraid.
