P6800

Holy crap! Both of my 470's are folding 6800's right now. 67C and 95C!!! That's up from 56C and 77C folding other WUs. Bumped my fan speed up to 80% and temps are under 90 now. They really should make you opt in to get these WUs.

No extra heat here, back down to ~12k PPD and SMP PPD is back to normal.

Unfortunately it looks like more and more WUs are heading this way. Soon these WUs may be the norm for GPU3.

Just a little headsup in regards to this 6800WU, I encountered a few times a CLIENT_DEAD (DIED) ,

for the love of god don't freak out and delete the work folder rigt away just try to start it up again and (in my case) most likely will just go further where it ended

Sorry for the late reply, this is the first time I've seen this post.

I'm not sure what I get on the 68xx WU, but my PPD is anywhere from 12k to 15k depending on the WU. I'm at stock clocks. If I ever get them under water I'll bump them up, but there is no way reference cooling would keep them cool overclocked and folding.

I run my reference 470 with an extra 100mhz on the core and +200mhz on the memory so you can OC it a bit

No problem,

Glad i got the MSI N470GTX Twin Frozr2..

Shader clocks 1650 (for now need more voltage) 1800 Memory clocks (also for now did not try any further) ..

BTW i only get the 6800WU not seen any other WU in ages...

From what I've read the older WU's are pretty much gone.

Have you guys heard any info on the GTX570 due to be released next week?

Twin Frozr is a great cooling solution however some noctua 80mil's have been ordered ordered

I have SLI though with the two cards sandwiched together. They really need to be on water!

Are you running max volts in AB for the 825 on the core? That's an excellent 24/7 clock!

Just that it's supposed to be GTX480 speed.

Yes i hear its pretty damn close to the 580

Maybe i should get this (depending on the price) rather then a second GTX470?!

I can't imagine the 570's being less than $350 at launch.
