hi, i`ve had an Asus p5n32sli-premium mobo, geforce8800gt, intel quad 6600, 4gb ram, 500gb hdd and 750watt psu for about 4 weeks.. as soon as i got it, it would not put any signal to the monitor, but then i managed to somethin switch from analog to digital and it then worked... at the time i did not notice if there were any beeps at startup. but anyway it worked fine without no overclocking, and after 3 weeks of it bein on basicaly all the time coz i was amazed by the graphics and i just leave it on all the time,.. it would freeze sometimes whenever, and it just powered off one day by itself and it would not turn back on? fans swirl, no beeps, lights on, no hdd activity.

removed ram, and hdd, still no beeps.. mobo just broke by itself, its brand new lol. im sure i had adaquate cooling its a thermal case. Why did that happen? Anyone else had this problem? I sent it to repair shop :(

Did you remove your gfx card and/or re-seat it and try to boot the comp? I had a comp that did exactly the same thing and the gfx card was the culprit. Usually the best way is to remove all components and slowly add them one by one. But I guess you'll have to wait and see what the repair shop says now

I have the same problem. I took everything back to basics and still it wouldn't boot at all. The graphics cards would not initialise at all and there was no post.

Took the board back to the shop and left it with them to check it over. They called me back the next day to say they couldnb't find a problem. I felt 1 inch tall but went back to the shop and sure enough it was working.

Got the board back home and tried it out of the case but it still did not want to play ball.

Doh! I suddenly realised when I went back to the shop that he had had his graphics card in the yellow slot and I never really took much notice at the time. This yellow slot is, I believe an 8X although it is 16X sized slot. I put one of my cards in that slot and the other 16X slot and the machine worked beautifully. It appears that there is a problem with slot1.

Try your card in slot 2 (the black one). If it works, then you have the same fault as me.

I'm going back to the shop today and getting a replacement or something else. I haven't decided yet but if this is a common problem as it may well appear to be, Ill try something different.

P5N32 SLi Premium

Same issue.

Motherboard light came on. No flshing or beeping indicating nothing wrong with mobo. Fans all going - Chassis, CPU and GPU, so clearly power getting through.

I had spare components of everything bar the motherboard. Went through the lot. In the end, disconnected everything. Only left with CPU and mobo, so to test CPU I popped it into a spare motherboard and that booted first time. The P5N32 is dead in the water!

Sent back and apparently new one winging its way to me.

Odd that all the lights and fans worked ok, no beeps, yet it was knackered!
