12GB on 1155? May need to rethink that.
Z77 is dual channel, so to reap the benefits you should only get DIMMs in multiples of two. Also, RAM coolers are pretty tacky, and don't help with the speed/quality of the RAM whatsoever.

You need to do much more research into your rig before you spend all this money, dude.
 
RAM does not need dedicated cooling. The heatspreaders on the RAM + the movement of air inside your case is all you need. RAM does not get hot enough to warrant its own personal cooling system.
DIMM = a stick of RAM.

As i've already said, 12GB is not an option for Z77 (the chipset you are going with), as its memory controller is dual channel. You only need 8GB for games, so stick with that.
