Well my motherboard has a huge cooler and I have high airflow so that's probably OK, but the OC is not stable.
It seems like it's not able to boot anything above 400FSB. However, when it does boot and I'm in windows I can stress test all I want, it's always stable :-/

Bump the Voltages to 1.3. I just went back into by bios and turned down the voltages to the ones you said you were running and I got the same thing you did. Put it back up to 1.3 and it's fine.

Okay I'll try 1.3 
Now running with the FSB set to 410 @ 1.3v.
Memory is running at 980-ish with 5-5-5-12 clocks. Found those clocks to be way more stable than 4-4-4-12 with my memory

I caught up with someone who owns MSI boards. "Well my motherboard has a huge cooler and I have high airflow so that's probably OK" . Your huge cooler is copper paint sprayed over aluminium and probably has a minimal smear of generic TIM between the bottom of the heatsink and the northbridge.
As a matter of course he unscrews the heatpipe assembly (no push-pins) and replaces the TIM with Arctic Silver and Sekisui thermal tape for mosfets- without it the board's cooling is inefficient and heat buildup causes instability in the MCH.
Anyhow, you seem to be having fun, so I'll leave you to it. Trying to achieve a 24/7 stable OC by juggling CPU voltages and RAM timings at the same time could take a while. If you start getting random bsod's and reboot loops trying to resume from S3 (if it isn't disabled) after a few weeks they'll be related to the OC voltages.
I was hoping to see JPSG's screenshot....lucky the OC3D forum is so laid back in comparison to some of the others. I'm pretty sure if he'd posted there,then the cries of "pictures or it didn't happen" would have the posting count flying.

Got it to boot at 3Ghz now, but I dont trust it simply becuase what happens to me a lot is that it boots right after I apply the new settings in the bios but when I shut my pc down for a min and boot it up again it fails to boot. Rather annoying cuz when it does boot it passes pretty much every stability test. I hope this doesnt happen to me this time

OC'ed it to 3 Ghz stable now I think. When I put the vcore to 1.3 it gave me a bsod when it was loading up my startup programs, and at 1.31 it crashed when I opened firefox. So I set the vcore to 1.32 and let the OCCT Linpack torture test run for 6 hours. Just came back from school, checked my pc and it was still running OCCT so it's stable for atleast 6 hours load now. Temps aren't high at all at 57-52-53-52

What cooler are you running? My temps are nowhere near that high, although my voltages are lower. Also, what case? I've got an Antec 300 which has fairly high airflow through it and the nice big exhaust fan on top.

Thats a much bigger cooler and a higher airflow case. I've had my computer on all day, running loads of games and generally multitasking like a mothabitch. Never seen it above 42 degrees.

Well the thermal grease is fresh so expect them to go down by around 2 degrees over time, but other than that I think they are pretty normal..

yer man your temps should be lower probly around were S.A's are,what are you using to read the temps? try a re-seat of the cooler,turn the fans up or just turn all the fans up (might be loud but just see,have you got a big dust build up in the fins check them

yeah the temps do seem pretty high for that beast of a cooler, i use an h50 and when my q6600 is oc'd to 3.4 ghz (1.34 vcore) they are less than yours on 100% load

Well i applied like 1,5 rice thingy of TIM and the megahalems dont use direct touch so i dunno

The Prolimatech stuff. Didn't have any AS5 at hand so I used that. I thought it would probably do just fine since a review stated it's pretty good stuff.
