Overclocking Q6600

Finally got my watercooling in, now I want to overclock..

2GB Crucial Ballistix PC2-6400

Any tips/pointers?

erm, thats good ram, if you already now howto overclock get cracking...

So I can leave my ram alone then, that doesn't need overclocking...

It's 5-5-5-15 stock

That memory will probably clock a fair distance, could hit 4 gig I reckon.

I haven't needed to up the voltage on mine to hit 3.2gig so you might not need to up it much, good luck

that memory could hit as much as 1400mhz with 2.4v, ive seen other kits do so..

I meant can get the cpu to hit 4 gig, I can't go lower than a 1:1 ratio on my ram. So I can't get there as my memory poops out at 420mhz

Corsair XMS2, 2 x 1 gig sticks.

To be fair, it was £40ish so I've got no complaints. If I losen the timings I expect it'll go faster, I've got one of the number that used to be a 5 now as a 4, the one that was 18 is 12. I'm no expert on this timings stuff clearly

I will probably upgrade to a more clockable 4 gig set at some point when I have funds.
