Overclocking an N580GTX Twin Frozr III PE [Beginner]

I want to start overclocking my 580 and since I'm a complete beginner in overclocking I decided to come here looking for help since there seem to be so many people here experienced with this. I've downloaded MSI Afterburner and Unigine Heaven benchmark to test the stability of my overclocks. I've tried increasing the core clock to 870 without changing anything else and it seems to do fine that way.
When I try 880 the benchmark crashes and my browser (chrome) went all white for a minute or so and then said flash player had crashed (I was watching youtube while benching).
What would be my next step to raise the clock even further? :P
Keep in mind that I'm a complete beginner!

Bump the voltages up a bit. Also while Unigine is a great benching tool make sure you run AT LEAST 3 loops in it. But because I totally forgot what the stock voltages are on the 580 just bump it up .05 each time until the 880 is stable. Once stable keep OCing until unstable again and bump the voltages up .05 every time util stable again and repeat until raising the voltages is no longer helping and or temps get to high. Keep your temp UNDER 85c preferably around 75c.

So, according to afterburner the voltage is at 1013 (its in mV) so I should raise it to 1063 ?

This seems to be stable, I had it at 940 but it seemed to be unstable so I lowered it to 920...

Edit:
And now, about 45 min later, it seems quite stable under 100% F@H load :)

If you unlock the voltage in afterburner and max it out you should be able to get a good 950+ MHz if it stays cool enough. I got 980MHz on my friends 580 matrix platinum :P

Dude OMG! Get yourself Afterburner 2.2.2 here
And latest Nvidia drivers pls! It will increase your chances to get even higher MHz.
+ That card has Triple Overvoltage, but it's only supported in AB 2.2.2
Then have some fun. Good Luck!
