Overclocking advice

Hi all, i need some advice and guidance on overclocking my processor , i am aiming 4ghz max stable and safe oc i dont want to oc into the danger zone, just safe recommanded settings

If someone has a guide how to oc with a foxconn BlackOps through bios it will be much help to show me how , screenshot will help too.

What cooler are you using?

For a start, if it's a good cooler.. I'd suggest upping your FSB to 400 and your volts up to.. (whats your VID?)

If that works, that should give you a speed of 3.4GHz, not much voltage adjustment should be needed on that.

Make sure you're on a 1:1 FSB: DRAM ratio as well ;)

If you manage to get it to boot at 400FSB, I'd suggest the next one to try is 450FSB which will give you a total speed of 3.825GHz with volts up to 1.35, though.. be careful as this is going to start adding a lot of extra °C on to the CPU!
