overclocking a 95W 1055T chip

Hey guys,

I was just wondering if i could get some tips and pointers on overclocking this chip. currently i have it at a 3.8Ghz overclock at 1.356V (taking reading from cpu-z) with idle temps at 32c and under load its hitting around 61c which is pretty high

. My cpu cooler is a Thermaltake SpinQ. would i be better off getting a new cooler for a higher stable overclock?

What are you 'loading' it with? Prime?

If so stop using Prime. It's stupid and overkill and puts way too much stress on your system.

Get yourself LinX and run a 10 or 20 test pass. You'll find your temps more like high 40s with that.
