Would love to see you make an animation for something like the Youtube video entry sequence of OC3D. Great work.

I like the top one (Like your avatar) but I would think it would look better if the OC3D logo went back to normal at the end

Yep, I think you are right, in fact I have already setup the animation. Sadly I haven't had a chance to render it yet. Lets say "Coming soon to a YouTube near you"

Of course I remember, Instead of thought clouds I though I might do a proper voice over. It just depends, if there is enough interest I will ask TTL if he would like to lend his voice to it. Who knows, maybe he would.

Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it.

On a side note, On the my YouTube page I have added a link to something for the OverClock3D community. Hope you all like it. Oh..and before I forget to ask, let me know if you have any thoughts or suggestion.

Cool, never worked in Lightwave before, is it difficult?

Well, no more than any other professional 3D Digital content creation app. Though it does have a very different interface compared with MAX, Maya and blender. Some have said they don't like it but I don't mind. I think people tend to prefer the interface they learn on. I know I slow way down when I use blender but I will speed up as I get more familiar with it's interface.

"So many dang-gum tools, where is the one I want"? Duh!

Isn't maya what the pixar people use to make movies?
smile.gif
<<<Knows nothing of animation

Pixar uses its own proprietary software built and maintained in-house + the RenderMan rendering solution. Maya and Max are in a lot of game studio pipelines, also Maya is used in a lot of VFX. Maya is the prime choice of Dreamworks. The Shrek movies were done with Maya. When it comes to motion picture CG, VFX, full animation LightWave is definitely one of the goto choices. Lightwave was used for principle modeling, virtual environment, animation and rendering for the movie avatar for example.

Fascinating stuff, I wish I would have taken an interest to those design aspects at a younger age, I however was born with out the creative chunk of my brain.

That Avatar vid you linked was sick, man! Who needs a green screen?
