Hi

I have a xfx 7950 double d edition and was wondering if 1025mhz was a good overclock its base is 925mhz and the tems are staying around 80 degrees on full load.

cheers Bruce

edit: ended up i got 1100mhz on the core clock and 1300mhz on the memory clock before it started crashing drivers

What are the volts at? Thats more important. Also what were the stock volts at?

80C is quite high for such a small overclock as well... my Twin Frozer 7950 runs at 80C with a core clock of 1150 and about 1.2volts.

i dont know what volt i just used amd catalyst overdrive also when im gamng it only at 60 degrees

edit: its at stock voltages was gaming for around 1-2hrs and it stayed at around 60-65

also im new to overclocking any tips would be good also i just built my first desktop to im a newbie

1100mhz sounds a bit high for stock volts, what software are you using to check the clock speed?

Need to try using Afterburner dude and then ask again

whenever try and use after burner my games crash i think it hates windows 8.1
and to be quite honest it dont matter a whole bunch the now im gonna buy windows 7 soon anyway so that should sort my afterburner problems
