Hi ! i want to overclock my gainward gtx 560 SE how far should i go ? Which is the max temp for a 24/7 OC ?

im currently using msi afterburner

pc specs:
cpu : intel core i5 3470
ram : kingston hyper x 8GB
motherboard: asrock h77M
vga: gainward gtx 560 SE

what have you currently got it clocked to? I would start off by googling what kind of oc's others got with the same card and then trying slightly less and if it works fine then go from there

Put the volts up to 1087 if it lets you and then crank it up to around 850 on the core.. Then test for stability. if its ok then start pushing the core higher, i wouldnt let temps exceed 90c. For the memory you may be able to get 1100. I got up to 945 core with reasonable temps on my msi card and 1005 on the core with the modded bios. Good luck and let us know how you do, here is my post on my msi card - http://forum.overclock3d.net/showthread.php?t=41332

thanks ! 90c is when gaming right ? when i played far cry 3 i got about 70c if i oc it to 830

Yep 90c when benching and gaming, idle temps will be much lower. keep going and make sure you test those temps with furmark, that will tell you if your card is stable or not..
