over clocking q6600

i used Prime95 and CoreTemp. CoreTemp when i was watching it was saying 42c to 61c. Prime95 seemed to be going well then about 30 mins running both, up popped a blue screen say something like memory dump hardware malfunction and something about bois fault. then went to a black screen and computer started to bleep one long bleep. now computer will not start. i put everything into the other motherboard and all was well , put back to broken one and nothing. so seems like it blow something on the motherboard. glad it wasn't the q6600. motherboard is only 2 weeks old, guess where i'm going in the morning.

I've been having a nightmare since going to a Q6600 G0 :( and last night i thought i would swap out my AW9D-Max for the F-I90HD I had in my media PC as i had read that the AW9D-Max did not like the G0 stepping :(

Which could kinda explain the random BSOD's i've been getting lately!

I had a bit of a mess getting the Bios updated on the F-I90HD and have not had a chance to really check how stable it is, but i deffo cant push mine past 3ghz still as the F-I90HD really does not have great options on the new bios for overclocking.

i have left my running at 2.7 now for few days and had no problem so think i'll leave it like this now as dont wont to have another motherboard give up on me :)
