Out of stock SSD's?

Is it me or does there seem to be a massive shortage of SSD's at the moment.

I've just ordered an SSD for myself, but have ordered 3 for my friends in the past 2 months, and all of them have been delayed massively due to shortage of stock.

Has it affected anyone else/anyone else noticed it?

On another note, this is a cracking deal by scan, even if it is currently out of stock (i ordered one for win7 Pro )

they all seem to have gone up in price.. Compared to other Indilinx 64gb drives its still a bargain.

And the new badges on the cases that say "6gbps !!!" (which are just the same drives, but work on the channel)

yer they were i was hovering over the 'add to basket' button,but they still dont appeal to me what wth degradition and you losing speed overtime,ile get a raptor

The new firmware on the vertex drives has garbage collection, which stops the drives from losing performance
