Well we finally ordered a new TV to replace our old tube. It's a 40" Toshiba Regza 1080P

Yea Kemp, I'm pretty excited. Hopefully we pick up a wall mount from monoprice THe Regza is so sexy man I saw it in store they're so beastly.

It was between a 42" LG 720P or this 1080P 40" Regza. The regza was more expensive for a reason

Well I think I found a better deal than the 40" Tosh Regza. I got this http://www.consumer.philips.com/con...42TA648BX_37_US_CONSUMER/Flat-TV+42TA648BX-37 for the same price in the 42" version. I must say it's pretty sick.

I love the glass-like border.

Around $1200 from Samsclub. Brand spanking new for 08.

I can`t find it in the UK after a quick search, but maybe I`m glad I can`t cos I`m scared to see what the £ price is. Probably make me sick.

we are still on a sony non widescreen trinitron thingy

big and old but working (parents go by the "if it aint broke...blah blah blah" rule)

but wen we do upgrade il make sure we get at least 1080p and a nice cinema system too

I had one of those down stairs aswell, my parents had the same theory but luckily it did break so we got a Samsung 40", not that I am ever downstairs to benefit it
