Well thats me done now can not get anymore out of this chip but not to bad when you think it was a 1.8GHz chip to start with so 1100Mhz overclock is not to bad, have done the CPC benchmarks and am in 11th place so like i said can not go any higher, i would like to thank Dazboots for his help in getting me to keep burning this chip in which has helped a lot as now i can hit 2.9GHz and it is stable with low temps and volts.

Big thanks to DAZBOOTS for all your help M8.

Hey! Hows it goin? I`m Kenny7426 on the CustomPC forums- i`ve seen your posts.

Welcome to EP-UK! I`ll be updating the CustomPC leaderboard here soon so will add your score as well as the few changes there have been this year.

Nice job on the 2.9! :D

Hi thanks for the replys guys, but as said i only cot this high by what Dazboots keept saying to me and that was keep burning in so i did what he said and look 2.9Ghz, he knows what he is talking about thats for sure.

Thanks Dazboots for your help M8 and thanks to K404 for putting me on the CPC list.

have you got some super pi times from this? What ram are you using it with?

Hi there, have done PI but this was with relaxed memory timmings so only hit 29s for 1 meg test, i am useing 2 x 1 G balistix memory DDR500, so i think the memory is holding me back, I need to some memory that will do 550 or 600Mhz but have not sean any can you recomend some better ram than i have got?

if you want to keep 2gb there isnt really any better than what you have for overclocking at the moment. If you have some old tccd 512mb or 1gb kit lying around you might get better with that.

Although i guess you are running the memory on a divider so if you keep the memory around ddr500 then it shouldnt be holding you back. Maybe you have found the limit of the cheap on the cooling/volts you are using. What voltage did you need for 2.9?

1.50 volts needed to run the benches at 2.9GHz but i dont want to take any higher so will keep burning in untill i get the volts lower,

Cpu temps are 42c full load on both cores and motherboard 38c full load, with room temp at 22c.

Like i said i am doing what dazboots has said and that is keep burning in untill i get the volts and temp down to run at this speed and then i will try for higher clocks,

like i said the memory is holding me back as i am on a 166 divider and runing a fsb at 323 this is taking the memory upto 260Mhz so i dont want to go down to a 133 divider as i would lose loads of MHz so if i could get some memory that does 270-300MHz it would sort out the problem.
