Opteron 146 In Stock

I was just looking found out of curiosity and found these in stock here:

They also state the stepping which are CAB2E and as far i know these are not to bad and should reach 2.8ghz atleast.

Checked there and they dont have any in stock

I thought AMD were supposed to have stopped making them retail.

They plan to do it but didn't know they'd actually stopped yet...

when I phoned Scan on the 20th they assured me they had stock.

Shame they have sold out was a bargain price for the OEM from there!!

Why not just buy from the place i posted the link to, that is not a bad price for a cpu that will do around 2.8ghz.

Hypyer: yeah will probably end up ordering from there its cheap for a retail package, but my skinflint ways were after Scan style cheapness (especially as I won't need stock HS+F)

Yer but you do need a warranty and retail adds more value when you come to sell as they are going to stop making retail Opterons soon.

Newegg has em in stock. Tho u can get 148s cheaper.

They are $259 where as from the shop i posted they are only £118.

I know which one i would go for
