Hello All,

looking for some advise please. Want to try my hand at my first water cooling loop.

Was looking on the specialtech website and looked at this kit.

XSPC Raystorm 750 EX360 WaterCooling Kit : EX Series Kit (Intel)

It appears to be a full kit nothing else needed other than the coolant.

Does anyone have any experience with this kit or others similar. ????

All advise greatly appreciated.

Thanks

looks good to me I've not done watercooling yet but do know my way around pretty well imo. All you would need is the coolant however do you plan on adding another block into the loop in the future (GPU)? If so you may be struggling a bit with a thin 360 radiator I would defiantly advise a 60mm thick 360mm radiator if you can fit one in your case regardless of whether you plan on adding a gpu into the loop the 60mm thick rad will perform ages better than the 30mm thick one that kit includes.

Also from what I've seen the tubing that comes with watercooling kits isn't the greatest as in the clarity of it and the ability for it to bend without kinks so you may want to order yourself some tubing with the coolant.

You might want to get some better fans as well, the ones that come with the kit will do the job but there are better fans.

Fan will need changing imho

if its CPU only its ample, things get complicated if you want to add a GPU block.

It is only for the cpu i7 2700k. I would change the fans anyway have some aerocool sharkfin 120's i can use.

a bit noisy but shift plenty of air through them.

thanks to all for the replies much appreciated

the kit's now fitted and fully working looks mint inside the case, got the mayhems aurora fluid (tharsis red) going around.

Mounted the pump / reservior in the front drive bays. the temps are really good as well.

was a bit scared to go for a water cooling setup, but really glad i did now.

thanks to all who posted back to me
