Hey people,

theres a really good deal on the motherboard i want on newegg.com

The only catch is that the box has been opened and the board has been tested. Its an asus p6t6.

Should i go for it? Or should i buy a new one and pay 107 dollars more.

All that will be missing is manuals, cds or some cables, which dont matter tbh

Or if you're lucky just not boxed

Either way, its still covered under warranty and stuff so go for it

Expect the motherboard on it's own without accessories, I/O shield etc as PeterStoba said and you shant be disappointed. There is a chance that it might be faulty though. Can always send it back if you're not happy with it :)

I've heard a lot of bad stories on the open box items from new egg. I don't know about a mobo I would do a graphics card maybe sound card, but not the mobo. I would be ****ed not to have the backplate for the case.

Great glad you did! So how are you liking the P6T6? I had the P6T Deluxe and it was a dream of an overclocker as easiest as it can be. The freind I sold it to couldn't be happier with it either.

im still waiting to boot her up for the first time. Im waiting for UPS to deliver my cd/dvd drive and hard drives. If you go to the build logs section of the forum, i have pics of the build under the name Project BMW.

Yea UPS and their "guaranteed 3 day" deliveries... :cussing:

Cool I'll check it out.

UPS tends to be really good with my packages so I'm not going to bash on them. Pluse I get everything delivered to work since it's a business address I tend to get all my packages early in the morning.
