Only 1 x USB 2.0 internal port?

Next week I'm buying a new 1150 mATX mobo, I was dead-set on the Asus Maximus VI Gene but I think I've spotted a problem that you may be able to help me with.

I've got a Corsair AX860i and Corsair H100i - both of which need a USB 2.0 header to go all their lovely Corsair Link shenanigans.

The current Asus Maximus V Gene mobo had two obvious internal USB 2.0 header but I cannot seem to find the second of these on these photos of the upcoming VI version;

Can you see the second USB 2.0 header on those images? I can't (might be a bit blind :) ) - the specs seem to state 8 x USB 2.0 with two internal, I just can't see it.

Thanks in advance.

If I'm not mistaken there is one 2.0(black one to the right of start button, says USB1314 on top) header and one 3.0(red one to the right of sata ports) header.

Thanks for that, the red one is the USB 3.0 header though unfortunately - which will be going to the front of the case, cheers though.

I have seen cases where they count 1 internal header as 2 ports, as you can connect 2 external ports (on your case) to one header. Might be the case here as well...?

Edit; Could always get this:

Thanks for the pointer, I'll seriously consider this.

I've got the already mentioned NZXT IU01 in use in my current system, and it works great. If you were looking for a cleaner solution though, I have an idea you may want to look into. Since each internal header supports two ports but both of the Corsair products only require one, I'm willing to bet that they each only use one row of pins on the header. If you remove the pins from one device, I'm willing to bet they'd drop right into the unused row on the other device's header and let you run both devices off of a single internal port.

i dont know if the drivers would cope with that.
And the only way i know to get them to use one header is by using a commmander node

Finally discovered the answer to my own question. To the left of the USB 2.0 header is a "ROG_EXT" ports (for connecting that new fan/heat/etc. 5.25"-bay ROG display thing that they're announced. If you have that device then it needs to connect to all of the pins on this "ROG_EXT" connector, if you don't have it then it's right-most 10 pins become an un-framed second USB 2.0 header and that was my confusion. So given I'm not having that ROG display thing I'll be able to connect BOTH my H100i and my AX860i to the motherboard to allow for their management.

Hope this clarifies for anyone interested in the future.

if things are not going well then just replace new ones if its never working and fix..if im not mistaken theres already 8 x 3 or 4. 0 usb version from a good motherboard right? biostar? or asrock?
