The omega 6.9's are ATI based but I think they do nVidia based ones too

Software won't mess up your card..or is highly doubtful too. If ur scared then don't download it (wuss )

they're supposed to be better with extra tweaks etc.

tat=extra junk that is usually associated with ATI drivers such as the catalyst control centre and .net framework. i believe the omega drivers have ati tray tools integrated

The omega drivers are actually more stable on my new laptop than the ATi Catalysts

Ye they should work mate.

But they dont work on x64 tho

i have actually been using the omega drivers for a few years now. they are great, easy to customize, overclock etc. you can do auto overclocking, so when you run a 3d app, it automatically puts your clock speeds up. i mean they really are GREAT drivers.

and you dont neet microsfot.net which i find a little annoying
