Oldest part in your computer

What is the oldest computer part you have. It cant just be an old part, it must be a part that has served you well and has given you some to no grief, is still being used in your computer, and you just cant find it in yourself to part with it.

For me it is my ASUS Crosshair Formula III mobo. I just cant find it in me to part with mobo, it has served me VERY WELL, and in all overclocking i have done with it. I have run into literally 0 problems with this sense i have owned it, and that has been it was released. I adore this MOBO!

Its not realy a part but a whole machine.

P4 3.0/3.2ghz

geforce 5950 ultra

DFI Pro875

2x 256mb 2-2-2-5 corsair memory

seagate 80gb hdd

scores a touch over 6000 points in 3dmark03

This thing refuses to die, its not realy "in" or used as my main machine but i think it counts as it all works fine and i get it out when ever im tinkering with my main machine and want to listen to music/check the net.

i built it early 04 when i was... 13? mabey... sounds about right, only upgrades on the machine were from a slower p4 and possbly from 256mb ram about a year after i built it originaly.

250gb seagate drive ive had that for around 5 years.

also one of the first ever noctua fans ha ha gosh there loud compared to the p12's etc

In my main rig, Corsair's TX750W PSU, 2+ years. Not the greatest, but fair when it comes to ripple, stable rails, performs as new. It's even silent, and that's a good thing as there were a lot of them that weren't.

In my server it's a Gigabyte 8800GTS, 3+ years.

In my old work computer, it's a Meridian ATX Case + Chieftec 300W PSU (Delta inside), both 11+ years old, still running...

A Vantec fan controller. I've used it in my last few builds. I've probably had it at least 6 years, probably more.

maxtor diamond max 40gb hdd, its what i use for my xp benching install still to this day and its about 8 years old.

my fan controller would be next and that gets daily abuse but its started to show its age as one of the fan chans is iffy :/

that must be around 6 or 7 years old now so not bad for £20.

Well I have a Sapphire HD2400 Pro running in my server-sort-of PC which is like 4 years old now I think. I also have a couple of ancient HDDs some 8+ years. Add to that a Pentium 3 rig (10+ years) I used to use as a server beforehand for CS 1.6 and that's pretty much it.

does it have to be the main rig or a sapre rig?

got a duron 1200 running with 256mb ram

or the other pc running 24/7 is a 3200 barton with 9700 pro / 3gb ddr1
