new parts for your new build. What do you do next??? I should say after drooling over them all. I'm looking at what each of ya do as far as installing them?? Talk to me what steps you take when putting it together?? I know what I do but just curious as to what everyone else does.

I myself put it all together outside the rig and check its all working. As in it posts I get into bios OK, and it recognizes my drives. Then I tear it all down and re-tim the mobo gpu and whatever else might need it then I install it all in the case and start the installation of opsys and drivers.

so share what ya do.

I have only ever built two PCs but I do it like this

Put the PSU and HDDs in the case.

Put RAM, CPU and heatsink and fan on the mobo.

Put the mobo in the case and plug in all PSU connectors.

Put the GPU in and connect it.

Thats how I do it anyway, other people probably do it differently though.

I take the gfx card apart and apply good quality thermal pads, and reapply TIM on the gpu. Install psu into the case then i fix the heatsink on the cpu install mobo in the case install ram and then the gpu and plug in everything. Then press the on button and (hopefully sit back) and waut for everything to install.

so am I the only one who re-tims the mobo??? Kinda hard to believe all of us hardcore oc'rs here and I'm the only one who does

So come on folks dont be bashful tell us what ya do.
