Well the damn thing finally came, w00h000! It's a complete giant too!

Unfortunately I can't use it until I get Project MK-47 finished as it requires a dual-link dvi output vid card and I'm only using a pair of 6800GT's. After turning it on I did notice some pretty major backlight bleed in the lower right hand corner, might exchange it while I get my other rig finished.

Ok this monitor hands down PWNS the 2405... The real estate alone is enough to switch over. And CSS at native res is enough to make you cream your pants, it's pretty gfx card intense though, that's for sure! These 7800GTX's i popped in are brand new and unoverclocked which definately doesnt help but it was suckin the FPS pretty dry in CSS, lol. Once I get em in the new rig and get some heatsinks on the ram and get em fully overclocked it should help a considerable amount.

The backlight bleed also seems to be steadily blending in more with the rest of the screen, I know a bit of break-in time is sometimes required so I'll run it for a bit and see if it starts to blend more. It's not very bad now that I look again.

Here's a few more pix for ya How many monitor can you open up 4 x 1280x800 windows consecutively? ROFL!

^^Notice how much grey border there is around my wallpaper? That wallpaper was the high def 1920x1200 I was using with the 2405 if that helps you get a clue of how much new desktop space I'm boasting about.

The power of 30" computing is sheer amazement, never will I go back, muahhaha!!!
