ok board playing up:/

after i appled some new paste on the chip..and then i was playing wow now it goes very clichey :/ i notced some of the pins on the ASUS P7P55 LX express(1156) socket was sticking up? is this means my board needs replacing?

i also put a new HD in a few weeks ago, ok if i get a new board could i use my olde harddisk?

I've done a direct mainboard swap with the same model and my old drives worked perfectly.

i cant seme to find my MB any where:/ so i guess i need fresh components

If you can get the same chipset it ought to be fine (I've done an X58 classified to an X58 Sabertooth without any problems).I can find quite a few p55 motherboards out there from ebuyer and the like.
