[OFFICIAL] OC3D Overclockers Club

^^ hey there mate, thanks for posting :)
Do you still have your link to your validation? If possible with your username? It's just an extra type of validation :)
If you don't have it anymore, no problem, I should've stated it in the OP anyway.
I'll add you to the list though :)

im glad to be apart of it :)
ive only really started overclocking the last month but i managed to go from 2.5 to 3 and im still under stock volts and never go above 57c so im really happy with that :)
i might even have a play and see how far i can actually go

I'd like to be added :)

Here is my cpu-z validation http://valid.canardpc.com/2867344

Btw. I'm hitting 93C using an H100i with stock fans in push. Is this normal or too hot? I think i've seen people with the same setup and sometimes a higher voltage but with lower temps.

It's quite hot, but that's to be expected from an Ivy, they don't get along too well with most cooling to begin with, the extra volts you need to get to 4.6 are just adding to it, you need to back it off a bit or cool it better :)

Hi and welcome to the Overclockers Club :)
I've added you to the list.
To answer your question, yes that indeed is quite hot, but those voltages are really low, so I would increase that if I were you.
In the first post in this thread, there are some helpful links to help you with overclocking, mainly M&P's Ivy Bridge overclocking guide :)

I've added you to the list mate, welcome to the club! :)

For the person with the Ivy Bridge CPU, delidding might help, clean the old cement under the IHS and put new thermal compound on there if you know what you're doing, this >should< help a lot with the temps, but will also void warranty

You're right about this! We have a Delidding Club here on OC3D, if anyone needs help delidding they should go there :D

EDIT: My goal for today has been reached! :D
2.10GHz! :D

I'm really hindered by the limited bios though. Gives me 4 core voltage options:
Auto, +5%, +7,5% and +10%. And the fact that it runs on a stock cooler, makes me happy with the 0.44GHz increase (about 26.5% increase) even though it isn't stable :p
