odd No signal at random

Hello,

I have a P8Z77-i Deluxe with a 3570k, not overclocked all as standard out of the box, 16 Gb of ram not overclocked and a 7950. all running via a AXI 760 psu.

I have a random problem where i have been playing for days with no issues then i get a no signal on my monitor, i then restart the system to the same issue, i also then power off for 10 mins and still get the same.

then it wont do it for days and then does it on start up and takes 20 or so tries to get it started.

nothing is over heating nothing is over clocked, very random problem.

people have said it may be a dodgy PCIE connector on the motherboard yet if i wiggle the GPU nothing happens.

all cables are plugged it well and i have tried both cables, and different cables to rule that out.

Am i looking at a dieing motherboard ? GPU or monitor ? nothing what so ever shows up in the event viewer

Good god man! Don't wiggle your GPU in the slot while the system is running.

Are the connections on the monitor, cable and GPU all fine? No pins pushed in or missing?

Which video cable are you using, DVI, HDMI, Display Port or VGA? Could you switch to a different type for testing?

i have used 2 DVI cables and 2 different display port cables.

i run at 120 FPS on my monitor so im not sure i can do that via HDMI

also given the age of the motherboard there are no new updates from asus.

Please Edit your previous post rather than posting twice, thank you.

I have also removed and re inserted the ram and pushed the Mem Ok button and that all seams fine.

i switch off at the mains every night and the system has been built for on 3 years, might the CMOS battery need changing ?
