Poor pictures.. But what is this odd connector, I;ve never seen one before. It's connected to the molex which gets attached to the mobo. I'm thinking its for the touch-on power button?

I'd like to cut it out, and reattach it somewhere else, so the molex from the PSU can connect straight to the mobo (looks neater) Clearly cant do this till I know what its for and where else to attach :D

The three cables are coloured yellow, purple, black.

yeah its the touch power button.. remember reading a thread about it .

Will have a look for you.

found it on WCUK forum

The power switch on the Cosmos S is a bit of a funny one because it needs power to make it work.

You should have a 24 pin extender wire in the box somewhere, this plugs into the mobo and the lil purple/yellow wire plugs into the power switch.

The other end of the 24 pin plugs into your normal 24 pin PSU connector.

Its to power the switch as its touch sensitive and you create the circuit.

Similar to how the screen works on an iphone/touch as youve got a small amount of current in you.

Thank you both :)

Seems the purple wire is " +5 VDC Standby Voltage (max 10mA) ".

And I am racking my 2 brain cells but I havent seen another like i anywhere other than off the ATX molex to the mobo psu. The yellow and black are +12v DC and ground, which i could ninja off a 4 pin molex going to a DVD drive etc, but this purple one, hmmmzzz...

Let's just hope they all get wired correctly.
