If it comes out,

Launch price around $400 to 450

Eventual lowest price near $350

Low hp low cc low everything compressor means 10C or higher on most conroe's

I wouldn't run more than 1.70v 24/7 on 90nm, or 1.60v 24/7 on 65nm. 130nm+ 2.0v 24/7 is fine. This applies to most cooling solutions, even air. Just cause temps are low doesn't mean you can run a cht load of voltage.

Eh overall we expect this unit to only be able to take 200watts of load at a higher temperature, this isn't going to be a magic cheapy.

i know how much a home built unit, just in parts cost by itself, but im sure they are mass buying/producing, to lower costs.

OCZRyder, a OCZ rep said $400 would be lucky price if they can get it there. Its not getting much lower.

Now where can i get a coretemp that reads lower than 7oc. The latest version i've got seems to read 7oc even when the temps are in the negative.

it's the different intel and amd thermal diodes, the cpu tested was an amd x2 5000

This is a common problem with the Intel DTS. For an unknown reason it just

seems to not go below a certain temperature no matter what.

As there is only one way to read a DTS temp, I don't see any solution for

this, unfortunately.
