Yes but PCP&C don't believe in modular PSU's as they (rightly) say that it increases noise etc

Even with molex connectors for the modular part its so little resistance your PC cant tell. To create alot of resistance you have to have a whole crap load of adapters on one molex connector and even then if its small parts like fans it dosent really matter.

Ive meterd my Ultra and my modular part dosent even make a difference to my efficiency. This is while i was putting it under full load of 3dmark06. It dipped probably .2 below at best. (12v rail)

Yes but simply putting a top-end PC on a PSU does not stress it tbh

Put a load tester on it and you'll get results that are a little more like it
