for a couple of weeks my PC was freezing randomly in windows and would only recover after a reboot, wouldnt be long before it hung again. I thought I'd fried my board as this only started happening after the really hot weather we had a few weeks ago in the UK, either that or I'd cooked the ram. Turns out its the OCZ petrol 64gb ssd has died, how... not a clue. Its not even 6 months old and barely gets used
This is the second OCZ ssd thats died on me, first was a vertrex 2 that just stopped being recognised by windows, a firmware flash fixed it but this one the flash hasnt fixed it. I only went with the petrol as it was recommended by the guy at scan telling me they hadn't had any rma's on the petrol series due to it using a more reliable controller.
I'm so pissed off with OCZ atm, i just want to smash the crap out of it and watch it burn. If anyone cares dont buy anything made buy OCZ, they are shit!!!!
sorry about the rant, OCZ just really piss me off.
