Ok where to start, ah the beginning would be good. Ahem (clears throat)
I've finally managed to narrow my choice for DDR3 RAM for my new (ish) Striker II build to three kits, they are as follows;
OCZ 4GB KIT (2 x 2GB) DDR3 1600Mhz Link
OCZ 4GB KIT (2 x 2GB) DDR3 1800Mhz Link
Corsair 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1600MHz Link
I'm tempted to go for the OCZ because of the faster timings however the reaon this is tricky is because the rated timings are from a dual core test system and I have a quad so the chances of achieving the higher frequencies at lower timings are probably slim. Another factor is heat, which points me towards the Dominator which would allow me to add their fan cooler but they run at higher timings !
From what I've read around the various forums I have developed a trust with the Dominator's and although I am currently running OCZ DDR2, I have no experience of the newer DDR3 kits. So please, if anyone has any experience with these kits on a quad then let me know, doesn't have to be the Striker.
Cheers all.
