i thought it was cuz i was looking at it on my small laptop screen... but nope, I really can NOT see it in the previous picture, where as the new one below it is very obvious. i don't know why but all there is, is the black and red splashing effect on the whole pic ??

look at what i mean... theres nothing there on my screen, but i saw something that looked a little like a slice of the sign, is there something i'm not seeing?

i think it was a wind-up, as i did not put the logo in the first render.

i made the first one simply along the lines of ROG colourisation, with no HDRi lighting... and as the background was black the subtle dark shades were hard to see. the image did not look fantastic with a lighter background

the second render has my custom "aurora" HDRi global illumination, no transparencies and perfect-caustics (noticable in the OC3D logo). the caustics also help tone down the blue & white of the main logo, to make the splashed-paint more prominent

this last render is now MY desktop wallpaper

I had a feeling right when I saw that wallpaper. It looks really really cool. Straight away, I was thinking the Daily Planet. Maybe it should be called Daily OC3D. I think it would be fantastic if you were able to make the backdrop and skyline of the Metropolis and have OC3D towers.

Oh, the one that looks like a pool looks great as well. It looks like one of those high class pools made from tiles. In this case, OC3D high class resort.
