I still have a DK2 LOL. I found it earlier 
That's my new rig too man. The OR has been sat in the brown box unopened for 4 months. I tried getting a removal company but yeah, Covid. So I haven't even used the new rig in anger yet really.
Stoked man. Absolutely stoked. The ROG monitor will be here not this next weekend but the one after, and life will be good. It's been torture going over mum's and just seeing it sitting there ffs.

Do you know what dude I don't even remember lmao. It was so long ago. I know it's ROG, 32", 1440p curved? god knows the model number now. VQ? something like that.
It's behind my mother's sofa, tho unlike the VR I did get it out and check it all over and stuff. The VR is far too much fannying around just to test out. Needs to be done here tbh.
It's going to be like the best Christmas ever tomorrow. I even bought HL Alyx on release day and haven't ever installed it lol. So I am all set ! had I not spent 16 hours completely rewiring my whole sound system yesterday (and making shelves etc) I would do it tonight but I am toast.

Honestly the Rift S takes maybe 2 minutes to setup, Plug it in, Run through the little setup program and you're done, No messing with external sensors or anything, Really slick.

The Oculus quest link has USB weirdness sometimes, swap it to another port and it will work, at some point it will stop and just switching it back to the other port works.
One thing I like about getting games on the oculus, is that I get them and my son has it setup on his PC so he gets them as well so it's like getting 2 games for 1, and because you need a pin to buy he can't just buy games.
My son has really got into the VR and wants a better setup so he can get full body tracking and haptic suit, just need to find that money tree all kids seem to know about

Played more of Half Life Alyx today, I can only come up with 1 phrase as to how fantastic it is.

Hell yeah, From what I've read we can play as a squadron of 4+ against AI of varying difficulty including capital ships, From easy to "I'm about to show you where I park my T-16 in your Beggars canyon and make your womp rat scream !" type of difficulty ^_^

Hope Oculus will replace these consider they are only 5 months old and not been dropped or banged around

That's just it they've not been banged around, if you look at the crack on the right and the left 1 where it's starting to crack, they are in the same spot and the cracks are identical if you look at the pattern. the marks are mostly grubby sweaty hands
What happened my son was playing Boneworks and when he went to put them away I noticed the crack, I have the VR space right behind me so I'd see/hear if he was banging them, I set it up so nothing is within arms reach for me and as he doesn't have as long a reach so no chance of hitting anything

Sounds like crappy plastic then to me, They were likely under tension internally due to the design hence why they are cracking/cracked at the same points.
