OC3D UK Lan?

This is a serious thought we've been chatting about between myself and XMS.

Would anyone be interested in partaking of a Lan in the UK?

I think somewhere nearish London would be best, perhaps to the west/north-west of London, but not too far away.

It would mean a big investment by us (in time, money etc) so I need to know if anyone would seriously consider going?

So far:

Llwyd, Dave, mrapoc, me, XMS, Ham, Jiffz, Ins, raging-savage, Toxcity, Mullit
 
How strange, while I was in the shower this morning I was thinking about setting up a decent sized LAN party in my area.

You need a car and a drivers license :p As you know the po-po's jacked my license for 6 months. Or you could take a train down.

Sounds cool, I was asking Jiffz the other night if OC3D went to any LANs as a team etc :)

Could be cool to meetup with some of the people on the forums.

Where in the UK would it be held tho?

edit: bah noticed it says near london :(

might be able to come tho, but I thought a lot of OC3D were from southwest? (Dav0s, Ham, llwyd, jiffz, oxo)
 
as i said to kemp on msn, im well up for this...

would have to be much later in the year though, and yes we are all in the southwest, maybe a location closer to swindon would be better for our welsh friends?
 
heres the plan, u all take a plane and come to my house and we have a sick lan, got huge basement, can get like alot of ppl down ther :)

I like the sound of that, would rather make a holiday of it rather than a 6 hour journey in the car down to London :eek:
 
Birmingham is quite central to the whole country

Im on the border of wales so London is a bit far but im sure up for it!

Maybe i could bring a WC kit and you could help me fit it :p

Than after you all get to Darkorbs than you head over to my place (LOTS of room) and we have the Lan Party/Modding Clinic.:D

If you advertised it a bit on other forums and such I'm sure it would be simple to get a full crew and pack up a conference room or whatever you had in mind.
 
Ill be up for it if the pos computer is working properly by then.

by working i mean overclocking
