OC3D Snow Thread

Pretty much everyone in the UK will be aware of all the snow that has enveloped the country over the past few days.

Some of us are snowed in, having difficulties travelling or are just plain cold. This is the place for all your weather moaning, or to share pictures of snowmen or other works of snow are or architecture.

lol a light dusting. What I had to deal with for ten years.

And then you get up the next morning after having spent 8 hours digging the day before all to start again.

I'm Canadian. 2 weeks ago, I had 8 foot snow banks on either side of my driveway. Melting now though.

Running winter tyres and I avoided going out at all costs due to the sheer number of deluded individuals out on the road that seem to think it's the height of summer. The road was clear this morning but it's pretty much covered now.

Went for a walk instead.

My area is like the pics AlienALX posted, that's why I drive a 4x4. Although this week it's been unseasonably warm, we've had 40F all week. Hopefully it keeps up, I'm sick of winter.

In areas not used to snow, everything just comes to a standstill with a tiny amount. Atlanta, Georgia got 1-2 inches of snow a few years back and it shut down the city.

Still not what you'd expect for a red severe weather warning. This stuff is dry powdery snow which seems to blow around in the wind rather than actually sticking to things, hence why the cars are mostly clear.

Yeah I'm not sure why so many people are acting like it's the apocalypse, It's just snow, Friend of mine in Russia lives in a place that on average is -50'c, If he was over here he'd be laughing his ass off at the men and women.

I just came back from the gym and there were grown men and women acting like they were about to die, I swear I've never seen so many snowflakes, No pun intended.
