name='Joe' said:OK Its Up and it works I cut the frame Quality to get the file to an acceptable size for the upload script (7.2 MB)
NB this is STILL v0.9
It has also come to my attention (TOX) that a lot of people have 19@ wide-screens which usually have a resolution of 1440*900 so ill put 1440*900 versions of the original up too

Just wondering if u could use screen maxsize tags or something to prevent the multiple version situation O o
name='Rastalovich' said:haha - ya the spinning one is ace imo.
If u catch u`rself staring at it, it appears to stretch out - but it doesnt - but does - lol strange.

name='Joe' said:its called 29.97 fps being drawn on a display being refreshed (HZ) @ a rate that is not a multiple of 29.97 .
i do love the spinning 1 .. ya shd see the version i have(ya will soon when i can b bothered/hav the time to publish it up here)
name='Rastalovich' said:Err, it`s also to do with pcs shoving out screen gfxs b4 w8ing for raster lines to complete a full screen. If the coding is done on a none screen area of the timing cycle, u never see any lines chopping up u`r anim.
Depending on the animator to sync up their animation on a basis of framrates is stoopid. They should adopt the old fashioned way of w8ing for vertical blanking to occur - but they can`t, as they`re not multitasking processor based machines, u either get all the information thrown at u or u get nothing, u can`t w8 for a moment in time.
U can cover it up in games by botching it with "vertical syncing" - but that slows things down quite a bit, especially when a routine within something like a game takes longer than a screen cycle to complete, thats when games screen updates slow down.
name='Rastalovich' said:I h8 the way uni projects work like that. They`re meant to promote working within a group and hence pin 2 to 4 peoples together to work.
Well, nice tho it sounds, most of the IT `group` work I`ve seen consists of 1 moaner, 1 thinker, 1 lazy arse, and 1 do-er.
hehe what a gross generalization.
Thing is tho, in uni, the group tends to get the results - so it matters little if 1 person does all the slog.
(am I allowed to mention how many women float thro uni doing this !! without getting mugged by the femenist-programmers-support-group? if they`re cute it`s an advantage, like with most walks of life)
I`d eff it tbh and do the thing on meh own and come clean with the lecturer in the end. Eff the group if they aint worth it.
