Following on from our recent poll on whether or not you'll be buying Haswell, here's another one to see what manufacturers have done the best at attracting you to their products.

By now we all should have seen the teaser photos from Asus, ASRock, Gigabyte, and MSI alike, so you should have a reasonably good idea as to who you're going to go for, who you'd recommend, or at least who you like the look of most so far.

Be sure to comment about your choices below, but make sure you vote!

From the ones I have seen so far and if I decide to go ahead with my build, Gigabyte.

It all depends on price, price of other boards and their features. Buying a board based solely on looks is kinda dumb, especially if you are paying over the odds compared to other boards with the same, or even better features for a better price.

Also depends on reviews, i'd never buy a motherboard, or anything else for that matter, until I have read/watched several reviews.

As for recommendations, go for the board that has the features you need, at the best price. All the top manufacturers make good boards, non of them are better than each other, they just offer different things at different prices.

Yeah, I don't like the look of the new MPower boards at all, so I'll probably go Gigabyte (They always make some sexy black boards) or the Asus Sabertooth. But as SieB said; It all depends on the prices.

depends on the colour scheme for me
probably asus or msi since they like to do red & black stuff

That orange Gigabyte one is calling me but if it has a black PCB and not red like the ROG stuff then I'd be happy.

I've never been unhappy with an Asus board. I'm a big believer in them and think their high end offerings are the best available. Can't go wrong with Gigabyte or MSI either, but I'm a little more comfortable with Asus.

If I decide to get haswell, I would probably get an MSI. Though if the Z87-OC is really that less expensive than the up7, I'd probably get that.

I voted Gigabyte because from the sound of it the OC orange and black board is actually going to be affordable and I've always wanted to build an orange and black rig :)

it's it still too early for me to pick any of them.

i will be looking (if at all) for specs that suits my need, not just what looks good, or what everyone else is getting.

i require (in this order) :
an awesome BUS speed
longevity
8 dimm slots (to hold 64gb (8x8 ) )
2x x16 pcie slots (CFx or SLi)
more than 6 sata2/3 ports (preferably 8 or more)
on-board RAID
the colour does not matter - it could be putrid pink and have ALL the above feature requirements, and i wouldn't care which mobo camp made it, or how much it costs. ;)

I will go Haswell to replace my current C2D rig: if MSI is cheap enough I will go for that, although that Gigabyte one looks very nice too and, apparently, the price is nice.. :P (will OC it again, so want a nice OC mobo)

Now I'm not even sure if I will go for Haswell, I just read test of 4770k vs 3770k and performance difference are between 3,7%. If that's true I just go for 3930k.
Well we will see what will happened.
