OC3D Crypto-currency Mining Pool?

Mined 1.3 helix coins last night on my 460. Now I'm just gonna wait until it reaches £100 value and then cash out .

I tried cgminer which gave me about 25kKh/s but didn't tweak it at all.
Changed to cudaminer but the auto detecting feature didn't work for me, gave only about 12kKh/s and used only 30% of my gpu.
Changed flags to -i 0 -L 192 -l 800x16 and this gave me 50kKh/s, which still is just about half of what I've read people are getting on 460's but I guess that must be on other coins.

For helixcoin you should be getting values in MH/s and not KH/s or something is wrong.

On another note, it looks like MAX is still gonna be waaayyyy more profitable if prices don't rise! Oh and I have switched over to the Supernova Stratum :). I would mine on the Official pool but the email still hasn't come through...

Yea, sorry, I don't think i read your values correct, I thought the "'k'Kh/s" bit was a typo  and it looks like Helix might be going up again so I think I going to hold until a big exchange picks it up or it gets to a good rate.

I have since abandoned Helix and am now mining at Middlecoin again.

The few I have left aren't going to change the world.

My Helixcoin wallet won't even sync. "no block source available" and "0 active connections to Helixcoin network"
I did manage to get cgminer started on the recommended stratum but failed to initialise GPU.

I do all my MAX -> BTC exchanges through Bter.com, and there the MAX prices have literally died :/ Down to 0.000716/BTC ://////

Anyone know of a better exchange website?

Nope, MAX has gone to shit and I think that Helix has been a bit of a flop because their main exchange has gone down. I think I'm going to join d3 and mine Middle. Could you tell me a good pool and exchange?

Download the custom download off the Helixcoinproject.com website and run the "gg" batch file. This should get your nodes to sync up and get the wallet working.

Had a few problems with middlecoin, getting constant hardware errors and the like, so I found another switching pool called ''Hashcows'', I'm back up and running.... finally.

Think that's got it, thanks. Now to figure out why cgminer fails to initialise my GPU but works fine on my batch file for doge

If you're still mining Helixcoin it won't work the same as the algorithms that Helix uses is SHA-3 where Doge is on SHA-256 and works on different difficulties etc...

Try posting your configuration and I'm sure one of us could help you. :)

Yeah I've sorted it now, apparently my version of cgminer didn't support it.
