I haven't bought any PC games in ages, my PC just can't handle it. And recently some awesome games have come out (namely the ones in the article), and I haven't been able to play any of them.
I think I agree with that, bar UT3. Never play it, I got into the demo for a while - that was fun but the game - meh.
I still haven't played ep2 yet! I need to get into that but i have so many games and not enough time.
Out of 12 months only ~4 decent titles... A game only lasts a few weeks at best if you play a lot, cod4 was a few hours! Not enough good games to keep you going imo, but then you don't want rushed games as they blow... Good games take time to develop... Arrgh! I want a 9800gtx already some more amazing games!
UT3 actually rekindled my love for UT99...I've started playing that a lot again and have been on the verge of setting up a UT99 server on several occasions :s
FPS definately ftw as far as OC3D is concerned, new unreal engine going down well.
Colin Mcrae is an intense driving game with masses of technique about it, as well as being extremely glossy. No suprizes there.
Yall need to be weary of some games that may be coming out during this year that will take an engine, inject glossy maps, some limited effects, but have some poor gameplay. Sometimes a frag-fest and repeated effect engine can get too repetitive. However, the screenshots will look amazing.
