OC3D animated wallpaper / 3D screensaver proposal

It asked me to install .Net framework v4.0

EDIT: Sorry it was XNA framework v4.0

EDIT2: Installed XNA framework v4.0 and it's working :D. I'm assuming the jagged edges will be smoothed in the final version?

yep - no anti-aliasing or super-sampling was included in that test
it was just to see if it asked for pre-requisites (DX9c and XNA4), and to see if it installed off my network :)

there will be a few versions

  • CPU only (low usage)
  • CPU only (multithreaded + thrashing)
  • GPU plus CPU bootstrap (low usage on both)
  • GPU plus CPU (multithreaded + heavy thrashing)
  • ...and a CUDA version
if you are folding only... it would be easier to turn the monitor off and on :P
 
one thing i noticed was that you can play around with the angle of the oc3d logo using the arrows keys :lol:

Can't wait for the final version :)
