OC issue on MOBO

Hey all, I'm trying to OC my 4770k on an MSI GD65 gaming mobo and for some reason the OC genie works, but I'm unable to touch the multiplier, if anybody knows why it won't unlock it, please let me know! Thanks in advance!

But didn't Tom say the GD65 was the bestest board ever made and that ever will be made?

it all comes down to the chip mate, i got my i7 4770k at 4.8ghz at 1.350v but i can only get it that high because i'm on a custom loop, most people get 4.2 or 4.4

But didn't Tom say the GD65 was the bestest board ever made and that ever will be made?

let's just say I disagree, tbh with haswell it don't really matter on the motherboard when it comes to overclocking tom and Linus did a video about a £300+ vs a cheap £50 mobo and both gave the same overclock
