Object dock

I've had object dock for a while now however, when I hang Outlook, win media player, my digi camera folder, my downloads folder and my recycle bin on it the following error is displayed whenever I try to open one of them:

Windows cannot find 'C:\Documents and settings\Stranger\Desktop\*.lnk'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click the Start button, and then click Search.

where * is the folder I'm trying to open

Anyone give me a clue as to how to overcome this?

very simple,go to the properties of the ones that dont work and find the directory of the main program on your hdd and change it so it opens it up from there(the main directory).

Cheers mate, won't surprise you to learn that I lost a load of stuff through my own stupidity after our convo but hey that's life.

Many thanks for your help but I'll just have to put up with it unless I can get that remote access working ...... LOL
