NZXT Switch 810 Case

unfortunately TTL doesnt have a review on this case (nor does Linus, another reviewer i like) so im hoping someone here has had some experience with this or know anything! seems like a great case, i love the look (black though) i love the features, windows, filtered, big, not overly expensive, big mobo heatsink back plate cutout, grommets for cable wiring, i mean everything i wanted in a case, this has. so is it perfect? please, anyone who has anything bad to say about this lmk. cause im loving the idea of this case!

yea ive seen 3dGameMan's review! and PCWizKid's as well. neither really go in depth like TTL does. or Linus (though TTL goes the furthest in depth of any YT reviewer ive seen) but yea.

There you go. What do you want to know about it? Nice rig btw. =D

The only bad thing that people really mention is that it is steel and plastic. I'm not going to go into detail on that, but you can decide for yourself if that bothers you or not.

If you like your optical bays, then the very top one may be blocked if you are using a thick rad. However, I am not 100% on this so if someone can confirm or deny that would be great.

It only comes in black and white versions. Again, you can decide for yourself if that bothers you or not.

It's pretty big? That's subjective too.

It doesn't make you coffee or pie. Sad but true.

still waiting for more kit to put in her. and the top bay isnt a thick rad thing its a long rad thing a 360 or 420 rad will make it non usable for optical use. But a fan controller will fit
 
so you have nothing but good to things to say about about it SIN?

its nice it can fit all that W/C, though thats not big for me as i dont plan on W/C (any time soon if at all)

deff getting the black case, i dont like white.

and steel/plastic doesnt bother me, as almost every case is such unless you want to pay $250 or something (not every case, just saying)
 
nothing bad at all to say about it at all. I love it Even going to get its baby sis for my back up rig lol the Source 210

I believe NZXT said it was a "hybrid case". In other words, it's good for air cooling or liquid cooling. So I would recommend this case for someone who is air cooling currently, but wants to liquid cool later on. Also for people looking for a cheap water cooling case that fits a thick 360 rad at the top and/or 240 on the bottom or front. As a strictly air cooling case, I'm not sure this case is a must buy because there are other options worth considering. I'm also not sure about the air flow of that case because I do not have it. So I defer to S_I_N on that aspect.

If you have a look at this link, you can see that this case is very good at air cooling. Not the best, but very good. Wish it could make pie and coffee though

no. no questions that i can think of. i mean it has everything ive been looking for in a case.

- it looks good, not ugly or anything (black version though lol)

- nice window. not obstructed by fans or anything (i prefer a solid clear window)

- plenty of space

- good price, esp for everything it has

- grommets for cable management, just make it look that much cleaner

- dust filters!!!! which is huge!

- has no (blue) LEDs, which means it wont have LEDs until i say it does!...and i hate blue leds so im glad it doesnt come with them

- USB 3.0 internal header!

- heatsink back plate cutout is huge!

- runs perfectly fine/better then average on just air cooling. and can be upgrade to W/C!

- just a solid case with the features for the future integrated. if i wanna go W/C i can. wanna go multiple GPUs, i can. etc

i mean every thing ive been so overly picky about when looking for a case, this fills all those slots. if i found one that had all those features it was ugly, or didnt have dust filters or was just too expensive, or had most but not all of the features. but this case seems perfect! im glad no one has anything bad to say about the case. the couple reviews ive seen all say good things. ahh cannot wait to build this PC! i hope newegg sells the black one by then, or ill have to go somewhere else for it (no biggie really)
