NZXT H440 Case Review

Well... For first. Too loud. I was using 3xnoctua NF-F12 with low noise adaptors and on top 2 x Scythe gentle typhoon again with low noise adaptors. But still, too loud. For second. Something inside was vibrating. Sooooo frikin annoying. For third. On back not enough space for cables...

I went back to 600T for time. Till i get mine 760T. Nope, its not from Tom :)

tbh i don't understand what's the cases fault there?
the case itself doesn't produce any noise and it also doesn't vibrate. sounds like it's entirely your fault
the space behind the motherboard tray is a little tight but more than enough if you spend more than 5 minutes on cable management

/edit

oh, and this. nice

I have H440 and that case is pretty amazing. Honestly. The true is i bought Noctua fans for it and its frikin quiet. Not a single problem with that case.

That was first day. After that around 2-3 days, become a bit hotter outside. And case become much louder. That case looks amazing. But. Still think its case fault to be loud. What im using now (600T) is REALLY quiet. Everything what u can hear is H80i and GPU when in gaming. And vibrating? Case fault again. Everything was tight, but still something inside vibrating. I spent more than 5 mins with cable managment. Only after i bought that SilverStone thin SATA cables, wasnt that tight. I have 5 HDD so that space eas really packed.

What a daft argument. Of course there could be something vibrating in his case. Something could have gone wrong in production or shipping. He would probably find the source tho`if spent enough time searching for it.
HE finds the room behind the motherboardtray to be to small, heck it even comes straight out of the box with touchmarks on the silencing foam...I clearly can see where he is coming from....

But Johnny...If you think the 760T will be more silent than a H440 I believe you just might have set yourself up for a big dissapointment...

Look. I think that case is one of the most beautifull cases I ever seen. I dont give a s**t about marks on silencing foam. And i think that 760T will be much more silent. Like I said. 600T is much more silent.
To be honest its my bad. I should take tape measure before buy and check dimensions. I should expect more noise because of not enough airflow. I should take a stethoscope and try to find vibrating noise. Ok, ok...

Except the 600t isn't build like the 760t.The 600t was designed to be quieter than your average case whereas the 760t is built for looks. GG

We will see. If 760T will be loud i will sell it as well and i will keep using 600T. No problem with that.

And about that H440. If u buy case for 30 pounds there will be some problems and they are expected. But case for 90 pounds should be flawless. Maybe im wrong...

Agost: probably quite a few like me are waiting to see if they release a V2 fixing the silly errors, mainly more vents to suck air in and slightly more room at top and behind the motherboard side for cabling.
Also how cool would a little tft screen be in place of the lit logo telling you the system temps/fan speeds/cpu speed.

There wont be a V2 with those changes dude

Also LED fans everywhere and a little Transformers action figure dancing on top of the case. Maybe a waterpark built in by default.
Really?

I'm not a big fan of leds. I'm not sure how you plan to power these little dancing transformers either but the idea is promising.

After having some initial heat issues due to my setup inside the case its running fantastic now. I had to make a few small changes to the overall setup but they made a world of difference in how the case performs for me, your mileage may vary. The heat and intake issue was solved by simply removing the front dust filter, this greatly increased air flow and dropped internal case temps 15c on the low end.

Regarding sound issues and things vibrating in the case i have to bluntly say something is either wrong with the case or something needs to be tightened. To be clear i run no drive cages seeing as i utilize the front two ssd's. I run corsair AF 120's and 140's with a H100i with stock fans at full blast inside the case, all that in consideration with my case sitting desk height not but two feet away i hear little to nothing with the computer running. I have no clue what people judge a "silent" case under for their own personal standards but its damn quiet to me. Also besides gaming and watching movies with external sound through speakers what exactly do you need to utilize a super "silent" system for. Also the before mentioned movie watching and gaming i do with my case at the moment and it has had zero impact on my immersion and experience.

This case isn't perfect and i think its a little much to expect a $120 dollar case to be. While the back area takes a little work to make cables fit it adds to the overall aesthetic of the case in general. The small compact form factor is beautiful and sleek. This was the first case i ever said yup i want that, before ever picking a single part. My whole build was designed around this case and i have to say after almost a month and working out the kinks its fantastic.

It should also be noted that this was the first time i built a PC from start to finish solo with no help other than what i received on this forum. So if i can do a near perfect build is this rig with great cable management than i can only imagine what a pro could do with this case. In short if you are even slightly considering this case, snatch one up quick. I'm about to order a white one to build my better halfs PC in later this month and cant wait to do it all over again.

Sorry, i didn't notice your comment before

However, as Tom said, I don't think tehere will be any V2 or something like that, just a new version ( like "H550" or something ) in a few years. More air vents could be very nice ( and relatively easy to make ) but will easily "ruin" the overall aestethics... not according to me obviously, I'm writing for others who think that

About the TFT screen... were you trolling? lol
