NVLDDMKM.SYS error

If ur getting BSOD with any kind of driver being thrown at the card, it would lean towards a hardware issue.

Check ur memory first, memtest is the best for that, or use the memory tester on ur Vista DVD - I kinda think they'll be the same for some reason. If this passes, the gfxcard itself would come into question.
 
Interesting, I did a driver reinstall cos soundcards are crap (feedback on rear channels when the gpu is doing work), like an idiot I thought I'll check the latest nvidia drivers for the gtx280... 181.22...

.. had a bsod some time after.

Was a clean install too, totally gutted all nvidia/auzen/creative references.

(previously had 178.13, which I'll go back to)
 
Yeah i have gone through every possible thing now, still have same problem of as soon as an nvidia driver touches my PC it BSODs on me so as long as work pay me right this month i should be able to get my PC back up and running and off the hidious 800x600 display.
