That's the idea. If you had an i7 with 32gb of ram and didn't get 18% increase in performance at 1080p it will be your fault. You had a different motherboard or different ram or different drivers somewhere or additional data on you drive or the moon was in a different phase. These are no different to MPG stats from car manufacturers. "well we got these results in a wind tunnel on a perfectly flat smooth service with controlled air quality and temperature, its not their fault you drive in the cold and wet on F$*%£d roads. real results you'll be lucky if you get a few FPS. Its not lying as they got those results, once, in a controlled environment but it is misleading to advertise these increases
