Nvidia shifting pricing strategy

Hopefully this will mean the GTX380 (or whatever they will call it) will be walllet friendly for me too. I'm too used to SLi power now so i just have to buy two :yumyum:

gimme ATI! - mainly because i have a crossfire board.

now all we need is for PSU prices and mobo prices to drop and hey presto..............tri-sli/crossfire

The price of the 9800 GTX is now just under £100.

The 280(s) are selling from £315, for around 600mhz, to £385, for about 670mhz. Tho the different manufacturers are scaling differently through their ranges.

It was said well b4 the cards came out that the £435 or so would drop by £50 or so as quick as a few weeks after release.

The slower clocked cards are cheaper, but I don`t see anything different than was previously planned.

Buying 2x GTX 280's but Im stumped as to which MObo and which RAM to go for to cope with 2-Sli (and maybe with room for expanding to 3 -sli Configs at a later date.

Would appreciate any suggestions as to the latest tested Mobos that work with Sli, I have read so many mixed reviews, blackops, EVGA nforce 970 Ultra, ASUS P5N32-E SLI Plus?? which chipset should I be looking for? Hope u dont mind me posting this in this forum, uhm er..

anyway more relevantly- Im choosing nVidia as the GTX 280's are so cheap right now and 2 for 526.38 inc vat!

ofc they aren't clocked at all yet, not sure if I can so that myself in the bios of the Mobo, or if I should buy they pre Overclocked.. meh too many decisions..
